The Homeschool Resource

2nd Grade

2nd graders have the basics down and are ready to learn some harder subjects and go more in depth in the areas of knowledge that they already have. Here we have gathered printable worksheets, online games, and even small lesson plans to help further their education. We have linked many great websites on these pages so please feel free to explore them in more depth, as they may have more resources that you find useful. While these resources are free, many of these sites require a free sign-up to their site to be able to view or print the pages. We have also included a link to Khan Academy for both math and reading as well as music. Khan Academy is another great, free resource that includes informational texts and videos for these 2nd grade subjects. The music course may be a little advanced in some areas so I recommend looking over the individual lessons and choosing ones that go along with your curriculum.

Homeschooling a child with special needs can feel overwhelming. Here is a link to the Birth Injury Justice Center. They provide numerous resources and information regarding legal advice, support groups, financial support, and general special education knowledge. If your child has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, below is a link to the Cerebral Palsy Guidance website. They offer information about cerebral palsy, care information and tips for living with cerebral palsy, and financial assistance.
