THE HOMESCHOOL RESOURCE

4th Grade

4th Graders are taking the knowledge that they already have one step further. They delve deeper into Language Arts by learning things like author’s purpose and point of view, jump into decimals and long division in math, travel into outer space in science, learn more about US history as well as their individual state’s history, take a stab at different art forms, learn the staff notes and instrument families in music, refresh their knowledge of personal hygiene and physical health, and learn the dos and don’ts of internet safety. Here we have gathered printable worksheets, online games, and even small lesson plans to help further their education. We have linked many great websites on these pages so please feel free to explore them in more depth, as they may have more resources that you find useful.

Homeschooling a child with special needs can feel overwhelming. Here is a link to the Birth Injury Justice Center. They provide numerous resources and information regarding legal advice, support groups, financial support, and general special education knowledge. If your child has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, below is a link to the Cerebral Palsy Guidance website. They offer information about cerebral palsy, care information and tips for living with cerebral palsy, and financial assistance.
